Primary Purpose and Function: The Events and Marketing Manager at Provo Beach is a vital member of the management team, responsible for overseeing the entire events process and the overall marketing strategy of the company. This role entails a strong focus on event sales, preparation, and execution. TheEvents and Marketing Manager is responsible for training and directing the events team, ensuring all staff members are effectively trained, and all events run smoothly. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing and executing social media and marketing strategies to promote our company, increase brand awareness in the community, and drive audience engagement. Your expertise in social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing will be crucial in enhancing our online presence and maximizing our company's reach. You will work closely with the rest of the management team to train team members and foster a positive culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and communicate event details with event representatives and Provo Beach team members once a corporate event is booked.
  • Ensure all event details are accurately documented in relevant platforms, such as Party Center

Software, Google Calendar, and Event Booking sheet.

  • Prepare comprehensive event details for staff use, ensuring clarity and consistency in event execution.
  • Collaborate with the management team to communicate event needs and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Delegate and oversee event preparation tasks, such as wristband creation and logo display on

TVs.

  • Assist in training event staff and floor staff on all aspects related to events.
  • Schedule party hosts and coordinate their responsibilities during events.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding birthday parties and smaller group events.
  • Facilitate the final payment process for events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Create and display event signage, such as notifications of facility event times, in appropriate locations.
  • Monitor party inventory, ensuring completeness and proper stocking to meet guest needs.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to promote events across various platforms

(Facebook, Instagram, etc)

  • Create and curate engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and event objectives.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, customer inquiries and engagement opportunities.
  • Create compelling and shareable content, including graphics, images, videos and blog posts, to attract and engage the target audience.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive event registrations, ticket sales and overall attendance.

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis to continuously enhance marketing efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable leadership and marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize events effectively.
  • Proficiency in all job duties related to events and marketing management.
