Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in coordinating and optimizing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to enhance operational effectiveness. Responsible for coordinating the logistics and operations involved in the company’s supply chain. This role ensures products are delivered from suppliers to customers in an efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner. The coordinator will handle the daily logistics, reporting and documentation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the supply chain, ensuring smooth operations.
    • Monitor and update supply chain trackers, logistics, files and reports.
    • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods to customers or internal departments.
    • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to communicate updates to product specifications and Bill of Material changes
    • Manage the master data and ERP system maintenance as needed
    • Monitor and report key supply chain metrics such as delivery times, inventory levels, and order accuracy.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Plan, book and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Work with transportation providers to ensure the efficient movement of goods.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with supply chain and product development to ensure documentation is properly maintained and updated.
    • Communicate effectively with external suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of information and updates as required to keep the systems and SOPs updated.
    • Update and send weekly reports to the company as related to inventory, production delivery and logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (typically 2-4 years).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and inventory management tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement and ERP systems management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
