Sr. Clinical Recruiter Position Summary: Responsible for filling the physician staffing needs of OB Hospitalist member hospitals.

Position Responsibilities: Essential

  • Maintains data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and recruitment results
  • Recruits qualified clinicians by screening, assessing and interviewing for potential placement
  • Maintain and update all clinician recruiting information in an applicant tracking system.
  • Assists corporate leadership in developing a strategic and comprehensive clinician recruitment plan
  • Develops a strong applicant pool for hospitals across the country
  • Serves as communication liaison with clinician candidates and hospital management
  • Implements and manages clinician candidate tracking systems to maintain accurate and comprehensive files for: candidate records; current operational policies and procedures; internal and external reports and correspondence
  • Prepares and analyzes statistical reports and other data to monitor candidate flow, selection, and turnover
  • Identifies and evaluates trends on healthcare recruitment, including location conditions, economic conditions, and competitive institutions to develop innovative strategic plans to respond to these trends
  • Ensure smooth transition of clinicians into OB Hospitalists locations
  • Establish ongoing rapport with clinicians to build long-term working relationship
  • Discuss and negotiate contract and employment terms with potential candidates in collaboration with OBHG’s legal and Clinical HR departments.
  • Other projects as assigned by management

Essential Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2-4 years prior recruiting experience in physician recruitment required.
  • Basic knowledge of human resource principals, policies and procedures as they relate to talent management and recruiting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with physicians and all levels of management
  • Strong computer technology skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and an ability to conduct Internet research in an efficient, productive manner.

  • Experience in understanding service needs, client practice, and physician credentials

Mental and Physical Demands (per ADA guidelines)

  • Physical Demands: Sitting for long periods of time. Occupation requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
  • Travel Demands: Some travel to Company recruiting events, company functions, etc.

COMPENSATION: Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000; plus incentive plan
