Job Description
We are excited to offer a contract-to-permanent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Data & Integration systems in the Life Insurance industry. You'll have the flexibility of a hybrid work model, working both from the office and remotely.
### Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute thorough test plans to cover a variety of scenarios, ensuring systematic testing and clear documentation of results.
- Maintain a strong understanding of database architecture, including relational and non-relational concepts, and perform data quality checks across Data & Integration platforms using SQL, SOQL, and other query languages.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to uphold high-quality standards.
- Accurately identify and document bugs or inconsistencies, conducting root cause analysis to understand issues and prevent recurrence.
- Validate data quality and consistency across multiple platforms, ensuring the integrity of Salesforce data and proper integration with other systems.
- Support the implementation of reporting and analytics infrastructure for internal business customers, using integration tools like Kafka, MuleSoft, and Salesforce. Guide internal teams in developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing SQL solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, boost efficiency, and introduce new tools and strategies to strengthen quality assurance efforts.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and provide support for more complex initiatives, showcasing strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Evaluate potential system adjustments for their impact on other programs, ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
### Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance Analysis, preferably within the Life Insurance industry.
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Experience with integration testing to guarantee seamless system functionality.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration processes.
- Solid experience with AB Testing to optimize system performance.
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL and SQL Server for database management.
- Hands-on experience working within Salesforce environments is essential.
- Skilled in QA testing to ensure the highest level of system quality.
- Experience with data integration to optimize data flow and organization.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data processing is a plus.
- Experience with MuleSoft for API-led connectivity is advantageous.
- Proficiency in data modeling to create efficient database structures.
