Skagit Regional Health is seeking two Pediatricians to join a successful outpatient Pediatric practice in Mount Vernon, Washington. Highlights:

1. Thrive in a collaborative environment alongside six (6) experienced providers, MAs, RNs, and a supportive clinical staff.
2. Benefit from an excellent work-life balance, with a 4-day schedule focused only on outpatient care with rotating Saturday shifts. Our employed Pediatric Hospitalists cover inpatient calls and newborn rounding.
3. Weekly 1:12 call rotation shared among the providers.
4. See a mix of well child and acute care visits in clinic. Opportunity to perform circumcisions, if desired.
5. This is a full time position with a 36-hour patient contact time work expectation.
6. Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and residents from our own SRH Residency Programs.
7. This is a hospital-employed position with support from our in-house primary and specialty care referral base.
8. Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization with newly implemented ambient AI technology (Abridge) available!

Qualifications:

1. Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program.
2. Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified.
3. 2-3 years of experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
4. Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license by start.
5. The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

1. Guaranteed first year salary: $278,434

Skagit Regional Health is an integrated health system with a growing staff of over 3,000, including a medical staff of over 600, and is comprised of 2 acute care hospitals and roughly 30 outpatient clinics in over 25 medical specialties. 2. Skagit Valley Hospital is a licensed 137-bed facility with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital features a full range of services including the latest surgery techniques, including multiple surgical robots; renal dialysis; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; compressive diagnostic imaging and an advanced heart and vascular institute with the only cardiac catheterization labs in the area.
