Position Summary:

Norsan Media is looking for an experienced On-Air Talent who is versatile and creative talent capable of engaging audiences in Jacksonville and any other market in the country, this person must have a passion for our brand, entertain and engage with the Hispanic audience, particularly with the diverse Hispanic community in general. Candidates must contribute to digital and TV with the same enthusiasm and sense of urgency as they do in radio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and grow the station's ratings in the assigned day part.
• Assist in the branding of the station via music, imaging, social media, and special events.
• Gather new stories, audio, and write content for the show.
• Produce audiovisual content for digital and social media platforms, including but not limited to, Web site, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and more.
• Pitch segments/Ideas and work closely with the Program Director.
• Establish a strong and effective relationship with the station’s Sales team and clients.
• Read scripts or ad/libs, introduces and closes shows.
• Announces station breaks, commercials or public service announcements.
• Interview musical personalities and guests.
• Acts as hosts at community, charitable, or promotional events.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar position.
• Knowledgeable in popular music genres: Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Spanish Contemporary, Regional Mexican, etc.
• Must possess impeccable diction in Spanish language.
• Knowledgeable in popular music genres: Reggaeton, Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Spanish Contemporary, CHR, Hip Hop, etc.
• Must be experienced in radio production, creativity and imagination.
• Demonstrated upbeat personality, informative, entertaining and engaging on the air. Able to relate to the station audience.
• Proficiency on social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
• Knowledge of current events.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Preferable Social Media Impact over 20K+ Reach.
• Recognized personality in major markets.
• Knowledge in audio and video editing software.
• English language a plus.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work from studios in Jacksonville, FL.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
