Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Merchant Cash Advance Underwriter. Onsite or remote will be considered. The Underwriter will work closely with other internal teams to review, analyze and assess merchant applications. This position requires the ability to exercise sound judgement and apply credit risk principles when making funding decisions. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess keen attention to detail, and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in lending within the financial industry, preferably with a focus on small business lending
• Demonstrated understanding of financial statements and credit risk evaluation
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and loan management software
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• A commitment to ethical behavior and compliance with all regulatory requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
