With multiple locations in New York City and an ambitious growth pipeline, we are seeking an Events General Manager to lead and scale the events side of our business.

 

Role Overview

 

The Events General Manager will oversee all aspects of our private events business, from sales and guest relations to on-site execution and team management. This role blends entrepreneurial drive with operational excellence, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both sales and hospitality leadership.

 

You’ll be the face of Terzo’s events program, responsible for growing revenue and delivering a flawless guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
    • Serve as the primary contact for all event inquiries, proposals, and negotiations.
    • Drive new business through proactive outreach, networking, and partnerships.
    • Maximize event revenue through upselling F&B, AV, décor, and specialty services.
  • Operations & Guest Experience
    • Oversee event planning, setup, and execution to ensure a best-in-class experience.
    • Manage day-of logistics including staff, vendors, and guest expectations.
    • Develop systems and checklists to streamline event operations and guest communication.
  • Financial & Strategic
    • Own event P&L, ensuring profitability and efficient use of resources.
    • Provide regular reporting on sales, pipeline, and performance metrics.
    • Collaborate with ownership and marketing to develop seasonal event calendars and activations.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in hospitality events, catering, or venue management.
  • Proven success in event sales and guest relationship management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: scrappy, solution-oriented, and excited about growth.

Compensation & Benefits
