Behavior Specialist – Support, Coach, Empower!
Location: Bluff City, TN
Pay: $16.50 – $20.60/hr (based on education/certification)
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week | School-Year Calendar with Summer Break

What You'll Do:
✅ Support teachers and classrooms by developing and modeling behavior strategies
✅ Conduct screenings and behavior assessments; develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans
✅ Collaborate with families and connect them to community resources
✅ Serve as a liaison with local education and mental health agencies
✅ Document progress using tools like ChildPlus and ensure compliance with Head Start standards
✅ Travel between classrooms across counties to provide in-person coaching and support (mileage reimbursed)
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Child Psychology, Special Education, or related field (preferred)
✔ OR Associate's degree in related field + 5 years of experience
✔ 1+ year of experience in behavior or special education support
✔ Knowledge of local community resources
✔ Strong communication, coaching, and computer skills
✔ Valid TN driver’s license + auto insurance
✔ Experience with FBAs/BIPs a plus (not required at hire)
