Capital Ford of Charlotte is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our dynamic parts department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior parts or supply chain experience who is ready to train in our dealership’s specific systems and standards. You'll play a key role in supporting both retail and service customers while learning the ins and outs of our operation. Why Join Us?

What You’ll Do:

• Parts Sales & Support – Help customers and technicians identify and order the correct parts at the counter, over the phone, or in the shop.
• Learn Our Systems – Receive training on our dealership-specific processes, including parts software, order procedures, and inventory handling.
• Inventory Management – Assist with stocking, tracking, and replenishing parts inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Customer Interaction – Provide friendly, informed service and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Process Orders – Handle price quotes, special orders, and invoicing with precision and professionalism.
• Department Support – Take on additional responsibilities to help ensure the success of the department as you grow in your role.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a parts department, warehouse, or automotive supply chain
• Working knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to dealership-specific systems and tools
• Ford parts experience is a plus
• Physically able to lift and carry heavy items as needed
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
