Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Riverside, California. Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices with attention to accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. - Manage timely check runs to ensure vendor payments are completed as scheduled. - Assign proper coding to invoices and maintain organized financial records. - Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve payment-related inquiries. - Generate accounts payable reports and summaries to support financial decision-making. - Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage daily transactions. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations during all financial processes. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. - Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel. - Strong skills in processing invoices, coding, and account reconciliation. - Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics GP, NAV, or Business Central. - Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
