Job Description

Our client is looking for a staff accountant. This position is onsite located in Fresno, CA.

• Salary: $70,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring as first priority each morning
• Process customer payments and follow up on overdue account balances
• Prepare and send approved invoices to clients through email and postal mail
• Manage vendor invoices by verifying against purchase orders and processing weekly payments
• Maintain accurate financial records in company accounting software (training provided)
• Assist with contract management including data entry, tracking, and performance reporting
• Keep precise inventory records and generate regular status updates
• Connect inventory levels with active contracts and sales orders in the system
• Schedule shipments with local and national freight carriers
• Communicate delivery timelines to customers and suppliers
• Resolve urgent shipping and logistics issues as they occur
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of order fulfillment details

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Professional written and verbal communication abilities
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Motivated team player eager to develop new skills and grow professionally
